However, should the customers requirements change so will the final invoice amount, Invoice totals may be greater or lesser than the estimate should this happen. The estimate will be issued in writing which MUST be accepted and signed before commencement of service. It is a condition of the insurance that this contract document is signed prior to undertaking ANY service to the customer. Should we undertake an "absent collection" the contract must be signed prior to offloading the vehicle. Fees are charged for both outward and return journeys. "Keywaiting" is charged at £20 per hour
INSURANCE: The vehicle is insured for Third Party, Fire & Theft risks, this relates to the vehicle & passengers only and not contents. All customer property, shipments and goods carried in the vehicle are covered by Goods In Transit Insurance up to £16,000 per claim with a £250 excess payable by the customer unless the Insurance Waiver Premium of £15 is agreed IN ADVANCE, paid for and recorded on the Invoice. The insurance covers loss of or physical damage to items caused by the driver or during transport but not internal malfunction such as vibration damage where all reasonable steps are taken to secure the load. Certain items are excluded from cover. In the event of loss or damage to goods the full invoice amount must be paid by the customer in order to benefit from the Insurance cover. If the Insurance Waiver is not paid the insurance excess must be paid by the customer from any compensation they may receive. In all claims the decision of the Insurer is final. Reimbursement will be forwarded to the customer within 7 days of receipt from the Insurer. In all cases the invoice MUST be fully paid.

It is also the passengers/customers responsibility to adhere to any Health & Safety document or signage provided.

The driver reserves the right to park the vehicle at the nearest available legal parking place to the location to avoid parking fines etc. and that goods must be shipped to or from the vehicle from that place. If the customer requests the driver to park in any position that contravenes parking regulations (e.g. yellow lines/permit parking) the customer must sign a disclaimer accepting to pay any incurred parking fines plus £5 administration fee per fine but this is solely at the drivers discression. It is the drivers responsibility to ensure that all paid parking (e.g. Pay & Display) is paid which will be charged to the customers invoice if incurred during paid service.
INABILITY TO DISPENSE DUTY: If for any reason (such as illness or mechanical failure of the vehicle) the driver is unable to undertake or complete any service requested the driver accepts no liability for direct or indirect losses incurred. In the unlikely event of the vehicle suffering mechanical breakdown during service the driver will undertake to resume and complete service as quickly as practicable. Fees will not be payable during such period of breakdown but will resume once the vehicle is underway. On any such occasion the fees for service will remain payable however the driver may choose (at his discression) to levy up to a 25% discount from LABOUR time for the inconvenience to the customer.
