Whilst we're happy to move almost anything that we can phisically get in the back of the van we're still most proud of our Budget Removals Service. With just one call we can give you a ball-park estimate and (if necessary) with a quick home visit & chat about your specific requirements and any additional services you may require we can provide a much more detailed price.
UNLIKE MANY PEOPLE WHO OFFER A SIMILAR SERVICE, we are FULLY INSURED for Private Hire use and we also have Goods In Transit Insurance underwritten by Norwich Union Insurance which means should the worst happen YOU ARE COVERED! (subject to conditions & limitations). Fortunately we've never needed to claim!
All this adds to the reassurance you and you property are in good hands.
ALWAYS BE AWARE THAT MANY SIMILAR SERVICES do not have the correct business insurance (making the carriage of your goods invalidate any motor insurance they might have), do not insure your goods whist in the van (this is rarely covered by insurance for the vehicle itself) and a lot of people our customers have previously experienced are simply using an old van or their company's work van to make a fast buck... all well and good if it's cheap but what happens if it all goes wrong of they make off with your property???
So, how do we offer such great low rates?
It's an easy answer! Low Overheads.
The greatest cost factor in this industry is overheads, most of the well known services Lease, Hire or Hire Purchase their vans which means they have a nice shiny new van for which you will pay a premium fee. But, if you want low prices then does it really matter how new & fancy the van is as long as it does the job at the right price!
We use our "all bought and paid for" trusty & reliable Transit Van. It's spent many years in the same trade rolling through thousands of miles and thousands of jobs with happy customers all over the country throughout it's life. No expensive running costs, just Cheap & Cheerful and it Gets The Job Done! We use a ramp system instead of a tail-lift as it's faster to load, safer, more reliable, cost-free to maintain and can accomodate many items a tail-lift cannot.
We don't pay for unnecessary staff or partners who cream a wage off the top making your costs higher. The proprieter is the owner, boss, driver, loader, dogsbody and most importantly... the Tea Maker. We have a bank of drivers-mates available should you require a second pair of hands with no ridiculous charges, just a simple hourly rate.
Advertising: Much of our work is repeat customers, referrals and those who have seen the van on the road. We do door-to-door flyer drops and with the addition of this website we have an effective but cheap advertising base.
Our only other overheads are the various Insurances which means you just get a good job at a great price.
